Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Safety Representative role at Prime Safety Management LLC in Charleston, SC, supporting an industrial replacement project.
The Safety Specialist will be responsible for conducting site safety audits and other general industry safety management objectives. The Safety Specialist must also be well-versed in basic computer software applications and safety document control. Must have previous experience in metal manufacturing environments or similar industrial settings. Machine guarding, LOTO, electrical, fire safety, PPE, crane and rigging, and IH safety experience is required. .
Must have previous experience as a field safety representative within metal manufacturing facilities supporting engineering or facility owners.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a safety professional working within a data center or similar commercial construction projects is required.
- A BCSP CHST, GSP, CSP, OHST, SMP, ASP, STSC, STS or BS degree in safety is preferred.
- OSHA 501, CSHO general industry or 511 is required at minimum.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be fit and able
Compensation:
$DOE
Per diem: 7 days (must qualify)
50-60 hours or more per week
