Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Safety Specialist at Prime Safety Management LLC in Norfolk, VA, supporting the GC on a commercial construction project.
The Safety Specialist will be responsible for site safety auditing, mobile equipment inspections, case management, scaffold inspections, fire protection and electrical safety inspections, LOTO, and trenching and excavation inspections. The Safety Specialist must also be well-versed in basic computer software applications. powerplant/solarsite/windfarm construction oversight is preferred.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a safety professional working in commercial construction.
- BCSP CSP ASP GSP OHST SMS CHST or BS degree in safety management is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be fit and able.
