Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Safety Representative at Prime Safety Management LLC in Atlanta, GA, supporting a demolition contractor.

The Safety Representative will be responsible for conducting site safety audits, inspecting mobile equipment, performing fire protection and electrical safety inspections, assessing fall protection, respiratory protection, trenching and excavation, and ensuring the proper use of PPE. The safety representative must also be well-versed in basic computer software applications and safety inspection software applications. Demolition safety oversight or heavy construction safety oversight is required, or similar is required. Must know engineering safety controls associated with silica, dust, lead, and other airborne materials during demolition operations.
 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of new construction safety experience is required, along with OSHA 510 and OSHA 30 certifications. A BCSP certification and a BS degree are preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be fit and able.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check.

Job Details:

• Compensation: Day rate - DOE and qualifications
• Duration: TBD 
• Schedule: 50-60 hours a week.
• Per diem: Yes, 7 days, must live 50 miles from Atlanta, GA to qualify.
